Warren’s latest acquisition

This morning I hopped out of bed and flew immediately to my computer. Today is Wednesday and my favourite blog has arrived and is waiting in my in-box. This is the day that my guest blog is being posted over at Home On 129 Acres.

I’ve been dying to tell you all about Warren’s new custom-made flag but I couldn’t.   I gave the story to Julia to use in her website while she was away on vacation.  Please, Please check it out and while you’re there read a few other postings on this site.  Home On 129 Acres is quite similar to WestLakeMusings.com.  Julia writes about her new life living in the country with her husband Matt and new dog.  It is filled with stories of their renovating and landscaping efforts.   Their place sounds lovely with open meadows, marsh and a large pond used for winter skating parties ….. just read it and see.  Their projects parallel my life at West Lake in many ways.

About westlakemusings

In 2013 my husband and I retired. We bought an old pre-confederation house out in the country. This blog is about our new world in the country as we explore all of life's possibilities.

  1. I haven’t been out to west Lake in a while – but I’ll be on the lookout for you flag next time. I love the design.

    • I would love to meet.  If you are driving through this way please stop and introduce yourself.  I’ll offer you a cup of coffee and we can talk blogs.  I know I have looked for your horses while driving on #33 in the Bath area.

      • Well, to make it easier for you next time- if you turn north towards Napanee at the hydro plant (OPG – Lennox Generating Station) on 33, we are the farm directly behind it. We’re relatively easy to find and we like drop-in company. The horses are in the field if it’s cool or hiding back in the shade behind the barn when it’s hot.

  2. Thanks so much for guest posting on my blog. I love your flag. Such a nice idea.

I would love to hear your thoughts. I really, really love comments.
