Hawaiian Ice – too close for comfort

The young farmer across the road has gone into the fast food business and set up a wagon selling delicious frozen summer treats. I can see his bright green signage out my living room window. “I must resist. I must resist.”

Hawaiian Ice is a refreshing bowl of shaved ice chips with  fruit syrup poured on top.  It’s a challenge to choose a flavour.  Will that be cherry, watermelon, bubble gum, raspberry, lime or grape.  What’s Tiger’s Blood?   I want to try them all.   Yummmm just my thing!   I can imagine offering this at a party with vodka.  Party time!

Frozen yogurt is also on the menu. For a small additional charge they will sprinkle M & Ms, Reese’s Pieces or crushed Oreo cookies on top.  For the healthier customer they will also serve fresh fruit over the dish.
