A front row seat

The 9th Annual County Marathon was held last Sunday and we had front row seats.  This 42 kilometre challenge literally ran right pass our front porch and we were captive spectators while the road was closed.

All told more than 1,400 participants battled the driving rain.  They came in all shapes and sizes.  Some were surprisingly old, many young and obviously fit. Male, female, even a man who was visually blind moving  in sync with his running buddy, their arms linked.     All participants impressed me with their determination.

Great picture of Molly. What a fun event to watch from your front porch.

I would love to hear your thoughts. I really, really love comments.
