Yesterday while out on a road trip, Warren and I came across a chocolate factory outlet store.
“Holy Crap” I screamed. “Stop!”
Giddy with excitement, we parked the car and entered the World’s Finest Chocolate Factory outlet. We joked about not having any golden tickets. Have you ever shopped at a chocolate factory? Fun would be an understatement
I decided it would be nice to buy chocolates for all of my new neighbours – a kind of happy thanksgiving treat.
“We had better get a cart to hold all of this stuff. These boxes are perfect for hostess gifts.”
We tossed more into the cart. Remembering that the kids were coming to visit this weekend we stocked up on extra boxes and bags of bars in a variety of flavours.
“Do we want the chocolate mint or the chocolate caramel covered? Why not both.”
Warren loves to have his own stash of chocolate almond bars so he picked up two large bags of mini bars. Up at the cash register we had more important decisions waiting for us. That is where they displayed their broken and rejected “specials”.
“Oh boy! Large bags filled with broken chocolate chucks with caramel centres. – What amazing value! ”
I am not overweight. I am chocolate enriched
Happy times! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Dear God!!! DO NOT MENTION THAT STORE TO YOU KNOW WHO !!!! Otherwise you’ll never get rid of us next weekend 😉
Happy Thanks & Givings weekend Diane and Warren.

“Holy Crap” I screamed. “Stop!”
Ha! I believe these would have been my exact words as well!
And I am enjoying one as I read your blog Diane – Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving and thank goodness for Chocolate.
Were you 15 minutes from us at World’s Finest in Campbellford and didn’t stop in for a cup of tea??
I can just hear you. Why oh why didn’t we find this store when I was visiting in the summer. Of course it would have all melted then. Next time I come, this is a “Must Do” on our list. If we do nothing else, we’re doing that.
