I had a pleasant surprise yesterday when I went out to my mail box.  Inside were three little orange boxes.  Three boxes of the game Gravitas.   They had been dropped off by Alan Gratias,  the creator of the game.   He was thanking me for mentioning Gravitas on my blog.      How nice is that?   

Let me explain that I have never met Alan Gratias.  We have never spoken over the phone.   I don’t profit from the sales of Gravitas.   I just enjoy playing it.  I bought the game Gravitas at my local book store.  Since I wanted to use some of the Gravitas  questions in my blog I emailed the company to ask permission.

When I gave away one of my extra copies of the game as a prize  to someone who commented on my blog,  Alan offered to reimburse me with a new box of Gravitas.
