Happy Canada Day

Lots a go’n on in the County today.  Parades, sidewalk sales, fireworks, swimming, and boating are keeping the hoards of tourist happy.

Up date on  our boats:

Yes, we sold them.  Both were gone within  half an hour.  Our success was largely due to our wonderful signage (pink neon bristol board) and the fact that we have a trillion cars drive pass our house yesterday, all heading towards the water and fun in the sun.

We had the bobcats return.  They leveled out the two piles of dirt left over from construction on the garage foundation.

Warren now wants to buy this bobcat.  (seriously).  He also went to see a guy about an air boat.   This is life with Warren.  A little cash in his pocket from selling off two boats and he is good to go.  “Need more stuff!!”

Yesterday I raked and smoothed the ground and threw down some grass seed.  I have watered twice in this heat.   With a little luck … I will have a beautiful lawn.

(In the event that you noticed in this little photo – I carefully fenced off my garden with plastic sheeting.  clever eh?  No grass seed will be blowing in there.

Good news – that must be a record for selling a boat – I look forward to a ride on the AIR BOAT .
