Oh Sweet Pea

I’m so delighted with my gardens here.   I had no idea when I bought this place that it contained all the perennial flowers I love.  Yesterday I discovered a beautiful vine of sweet peas growing wild along the fence line.  (Yes, I do know that they are actually annuals – but self seeding).

Notice the container that these little flowers are in.  I recently found this pretty blue creamer in a plastic bin.  It had been stashed away, tarnished and forgotten.

My grandmother, mother and sister all had silver tea services.   For decades they faithfully polished these treasures every week.  No one wants them anymore.   Kind of sad
