I have seen at least 12 turtles over the last four days. They are all seen trying to cross the road, in the fields laying their eggs. Some of them are huge ie. 15 inches across the top of their shells. One was on my lawn. Molly tried to sniff it and the turtle attacked. It reared its long neck back to bite Molly. I screamed.
