Today the workmen returned.  Fleets of trucks:  flat beds for the tractors, loaders, and diggers,  dump trucks and gravel slings.  

They finally took away the old tree trunks..

The job today was to back fill  around the new foundation and pour in gravel. 

We left them working as we heading back to Toronto for several days of packing.
